Daryl Overlock is the President and Owner of American Home Source, a company that has been providing top-quality construction services since its establishment in January 2005 as a Panelized Building System Dealer. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Daryl has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of construction, from residential projects to commercial ventures. In June 2008, Daryl received his General Contractor license, marking a significant milestone in his career. His areas of specialization include Owner/Builder assistance, Project Management, and General Contracting.
American Home Source offers a wide range of services in residential construction, including custom bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, room additions, ADU’s, and ground-up construction. Additionally, the company is well-versed in commercial tenant improvement projects. Before venturing into the construction industry, Daryl spent 26 years in the Title Insurance Industry. During this time, he served as a Senior Title Officer for First American Title Company and Title Operations Manager for Southland Title. Daryl’s diverse professional background also includes a stint in Bologna, Italy, where he honed his culinary skills as an assistant cook, pastry chef, and manager.
Daryl’s commitment to community service is commendable. He has served as the Past President of the Glendora Kiwanis Club, where he received several prestigious awards, including the Dunlap Award, George E Hixson Award, and Outstanding Service Award. He also held the position of President of the Glendora Chamber of Commerce for the term 2011-2012. Throughout his involvement with the Glendora Chamber of Commerce, Daryl has been recognized for his outstanding contributions. He received the Ambassador of the Year Award in 2009 and chaired various committees, including the Scholarship Committee and the Flashback Classic Car and Motorcycle Show, which is the largest fundraiser for the Glendora Kiwanis and Glendora Chamber of Commerce. Daryl’s dedication to community causes extends further as he served as a committee chair for the Glendora War Memorial and the Glendora Centennial Festival. In recognition of his philanthropic endeavors, the Coordinating Council for Glendora presented him with the Gene Beckwith Humanitarian Award for 2011.
