Nelson Homes is very pleased with the many custom floor plans we offer our customers.  Unlike many other panelized home manufactures, Nelson Homes do not sell there floor plans they give them for FREE to customers that are serious about building a home.  American Home Source can send you a standard size set of any of these plans that are ready to be structurally engineered by a licensed structural engineer.  We also can take care of arranging the engineering process.  The average cost to engineer a set of plans is $4,000.00.

We recommend Wright Engineers in Irvine California for structural engineering services.  They have all of the factory specifications already and can usually turn around a set of plans in 4 weeks.  If you want to take care of the engineering yourself your engineer will probably want a CAD file of the plans.  We can get you that CAD set for $50.00.
